Episode 2 GUI bug

Half-Life 2 Episode 2 is a great game and I love the fact that they finally separated AUX Power from your flashlight but, my flashlight icon is broken. It jsut shows up as an on end rectangle.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

    For me a simple restart always fixed this GUi problem.

    I've tried restarting and it doesn't seem to fix it.

    I have a same problem, but I don't really care about it since I rarely use flashlight. Simply ignoring it would be best.

    Could it be your graphics card? I remember that the flashlight in Halo never worked for me, since my graphics card sucked. Then I got an nVidia 7900 GeForce and it worked perfectly.

    Try changing your resolution. My GUI cuts up a bit when I have a really high resolution.
